The main responsibilities are:
- Conduct assessments and audits of supplier quality management systems to ensure compliance with established standards and requirements.
- Identify areas for improvement in supplier processes and collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and improvements.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to supplier quality assurance activities.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of documents such as quality agreements, inspection plans, supplier evaluations, and audit reports.
- Collaborate closely with the FMEA engineer to assist in the analysis of potential failure modes, effects, and criticality assessment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of FMEA processes and methodologies.
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) are advantageous.
- Proven experience in supplier quality assurance, FMEA methodologies, and quality management systems.
- Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, statistical process control, and risk management.
- Proficiency in documentation management and familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in German and English (both spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel
