JOB DESCRIPTION - IPC TECHNICAL AUTHOR
I. JOB LOCATION
You will be based at the AKKA agency in Iasi, Romania.
Due to the nature of the activity, you may have to work to tight deadlines, to make sure that the AIs (Impact analyses) are delivered within the timeframe set by the customer.
II. MISSION
Your mission is to ensure preparation (pre-IA, data collection, AI) and implementation (authoring / updating the databases) for IPC, in compliance with specifications, guides, standards and practices.
III. MAIN ACTIVITES
As an IPM technical author, it is your role to:
• Produce deliverables (deliverables list in the MISSION §) using your technical knowledge, obtained either through internal training or your past professional experience.
• Follow production processes (Jobcard, Checklist, Procedures/Specific guides, etc.).
• Monitor and manage your workload, in order to organize or alert your Work Package Leader if there is a risk of delay for deliverables.
• Be constantly receptive to internal feedback and put plans of action in place for constant improvement
• Ensure quality monitoring in collaboration with the Work Package Leader and if necessary, take part in root cause analysis (RCA) and put action plans in place.
• Contribute to the team: help team members and participate in a positive group dynamic.
IV. YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
➔ You are responsible for the conformity (quality and deadlines met) of the deliverables, you are responsible for your dossier and you must be aware of all the information indicated in your deliverable and ensure its traceability.
➔ Your technical responsibilities:
• Selecting the spare parts after analysis of the definition documents,
• Making sure of the airworthiness of each article selected and attributing a validity to these articles,
• Participating, with the team, in the development of the spare parts catalogue,
• Integrating data in the databases in compliance with the standards in effect (ASD STANDARD 2000M, S1000D),
• Producing technical parts lists and creating the corresponding illustration models,
• Making sure that all the data in the production chain is perfectly correct: procurement, parts lists, illustrations.

• Complying with the processes (Jobcard, Checklist, Procedures/Specific guides, etc.),
• Managing and complying with deadlines given and communicating on any possible delays,
• Putting actions for improvement in place,
• Reporting any dysfunction/risk to the Work Package Leader.

• Happy to make suggestions, you can identify actions for improvement (process, methods, technical, etc.).
• You know how to identify in your research the different points that require the confirmation of technical information or methods. You will ask for confirmation from a technical expert.
• You adapt easily and know how to manage stress related to urgent requests that require rapid action.

• Reading & analysis of CRDs (Compliance Record Document), ECPs (Enterprise Change Proposal), BGs (Grouping Slip), DO (Design office) drawings, customer sheets,
• Reading & analysis of TSs (Technical sheet), Technical notes, TEs (Technical Event), Standards, SPEC,
• Impact analysis,
• Interchangeability and mixing analysis,
• Procurement & change process,
• Configuration management,
• Airworthiness, aeronautic rules,
• Verification methodology,
• Knowledge of aeronautic documentation (AMM, IPC, SB, etc.),
• Intermediate level in English,
• Internal and external communication (customer meetings etc.).
